Can't speak too much as to the famous people, but when I'd be down there for concerts and events the staff was always super helpful and nice. They always seem to be willing to help bo matter what you're looking for.
Yes
I did not notice if they had cream ale. I would call and ask before you drive over
Very Laid back local Bar, bartenders were amazing and made great drinks! Food was wonderful with much variety on the menu and had great taste. Will definitely come back once I'm in Arizona again.
Always a great time here. Beers are great, and fish and chips are nice treat
Whether a quick lunch when working downtown or grabbing a bite and a couple drinks before a concert or game, check this place out. Great food and drinks. Fun people. Never a bad experience. Easy to walk to. O matter where you are going next. And if you eat too much, or are late getting to the game, catch a bicycle taxis.
Stopped in for dinner twice on my recent visit to Phoenix. Very lively Irish pub in downtown Phoenix with good food and drink. I had fish and chips my first night and Irish stew the second. Both meals were delicious. Service was very quick The bar has an amazing assortment of whiskey with many scotch whisky as well as Irish and even some from japan. If your lucky, Ken May be tending the bar. I also enjoyed the heated outdoor smoking area. Great place for a casual dinner and a drink. I highly recommend.
Best corned beef and cabbage I've ever had. I've had a lot. This was great! Oh yeah, the service was good too. They had on Monday Night Football and blues music. Would def recommend.
The service is great. The food is where it gets interesting. Sometimes the food is great and worth the money your dropping, other times I feel like its and off day for the cooking staff. If you are coming for the experience and to hang out with friends or something, this place is great for that. If you are coming for a 5 star meal, I'd move along.
Best service around. I know people say that about all sorts of places, but I was genuinely surprised by how thoughtful our server was. He brought us things before we needed them, checked on us regularly, and was all around a cool dude.
Lovely old world feel with friendly servers and good happy hour specials.
The staff is quite amiable. Food and drinks are good. It's just the prices have been getting high considering the unchanging nature of the place for the 25+ years I've frequented the place.
Drinks were great but food I would not recommend. Order was wrong. When corrected order came out it was undercooked.
Nice chill spot to have drinks, the burger and wings were good here. My waitress was nice and friendly
I was coming to Seamus' back in 1997 when I lived and worked downtown, and I loved it then. Came back for work in 2019, and it's the same awesome place I loved back in the day. Gald to see that it hasn't changed. Yeah, the TVs are better, and the obvious stuff has been upgraded in 20+ years, but the core feel and drive of this awesome little Irish pub is still the same. Thanks guys!
Good joint. Not crowded and there's sometimes love music but not amazing bands but local musicians playing popular music. Drinks cost the same as other places nothing crazy. Good place to make routine.
I have ordered from here a few times via Postmates. Everything I have ordered, I have enjoyed; until today. I ordered the Steak and Mushroom Pie, with the Irish Whiskey Cake (sans ice cream) for dessert. The dinner was haphazardly put into the container, and there were only two small bites of meat underneath the crust. It was basically mushroom sauce covered in a soggy crust that was overly salty. I couldn't bring myself to finish eating it. The cake was also completely left out of the order. I resolved that issue through Postmates and received the credit for the missing part of my order, but I am upset over the poor quality of my order. I know more people are placing to go orders due to current circumstances, however increase in order should not yield a decrease in food quality. It will be some time before I order again. I gave 2 stars because my last orders were delicious.
A large variety of excellent drinks. Different varieties of delicious sandwiches are available here. Live music is the extra package. I love to come here. I used to spent my weekend here with my friends. One of my favorite place.
This Irish Pub has some of the best fish and chips around. They frequently have live music on the weekends. It's a pretty happening hot spot and gets pretty busy on those nights. Lots of beers on tap and lots of whiskey of course. It's always clean and the service is always good. They serve food late and we enjoy coming in close to close.
The usual downtown Irish pub and restaurant, green in color, a long bar and lots of beer signs. Nice selection of beers and Irish food. Ate the shepherds pie for dinner, this is ground beef based instead of cubes of beef. Had too many mashed potatoes in my opinion and not enough meat. Don't get me wrong, decent Irish flavor, but would not be my first choice if I visit again. Soda bread was very tasty. Service was excellent.
Enjoyed the fish and chips with some local beers. Service was excellent and friendly and food was quick to the table. Everyone in the party enjoyed their meals and all remarked about the good selection of drinks available. Definitely worth a visit. Interior is a typical Irish pub with a long bar and separate seating area. Outside seating available too.

Great late night food. Food was delicious. Great atmosphere. Staff were nice. Great location.
Called to ask about a possible reservation and whoever I spoke with (she didn't give her name) was as rude as the day is long. This place looked like a great place to bring our business, but we have decided to take our party of four to another restaurant that has better customer service. I hope management reads this and emphasizes how important tone, attitude, and kindness is in the customer service/food industry, even if it is just a phone inquiry.
Lots of room inside. Looks and acts like the real thing when it comes to Irish Pubs, which is exactly what we were looking for. The food was delicious. Authentic menu selections and plenty of whiskey and ale behind the bar. Outdoor patio too.
Great place to get away from the heat and relax and chill. Energetic staff, super bartender and cold beer! Will come again. Get there at happy hour! 4pm! Next time I'll try the food for sure.
Seamus is open. Social distancing required. The food is good and the atmosphere is relaxing. You and your friends will enjoy yourselves. Never a dull moment at Seamus.
Delicious food. Awesome service

This is absolutely one of the best restaurants in the region. Every time I come there I am awfully happy. They manage their high level service and the highest level of cooking they give. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Very recommended.
First visit, will definitely go back the next time we're in town. Best Tennessee Mule ever! The shrimp and chip basket was great. Service was excellent, too. They had great live music last night. A lot of fun.
Woww..food was fantastic and delicious!!
Great little Irish Pub downtown to stop in for a pint. Can tell its pretty old but that is a part of the experience for me at least. Usual live music. Prices are mostly fair. Bathrooms are very small and almost always dirty. Definitely a place to check out if downtown.
Great food and appetizers. The Irish nachos are amazing. A little pricey, but it's in the heart of downtown so it's to be expected and definitely worth the price.
Sat in here for 20 minutes got no service. Not a we will be right with you nothing. Was our first time in here wanted to eat but didn't get the chance. We will not be back. Obviously you guys don't care about the people that come in here.
My family and I came here to eat dinner. We were looking forward to eating here. As we walked in the bartender told us to find a seat and someone will be right with you. After waiting for 25 minutes for someone to come to our table, we walked out. My son was impatient and was very thirsty and hungry. We went somewhere else to eat.
Every time I go I love the atmosphere and the shepherds pie! Sitting at the Bar, bar tenders are quite attentive! You won’t go dry!
Great menu. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere, including great music. I had the corned beef and cabbage, with Irish Soda Bread. I would definitely recommend it. My wife had battered, fried shrimp. They were great. And her fries we warm and crispy.
This place is Amazing. First off, get their Shepherd's Pie. Second off, get a Guinness with it. Loved the atmosphere, loved the service. Loved everything about it.
Downtown Phoenix begins to shutdown at 10pm on the weekends but this one establishment continues to keep your thirst quenched and palate satisfied. Good till 2am, and just in case you need it, live music rocks the place till closing. Great Irish bar, friendly staff, with awesome pours.
MY FAVORITE after work / event hang out spot for killer foods and drinks. EVERYONE MUST have an apple pie shot at least once in their life! I guarantee, you won’t be able to have just one though. Want some amazing chicken tenders? This is the place! Also, the chips and gravy, DELICIOUS!
Seamus McCaffrey's is one of my favorite places to be in downtown Phoenix! Management and staff alike are always on the top of their game, no matter how busy they get! They support live music, which I LOVE, and the Jake Dean Trio killed it last night! As always, it was a great time! It's a "must visit" for anyone looking to have fun while in the hottest city on earth!
Waited ten minutes at the bar before I was asked what I wanted to drink. Bar tender made eye contact with me twice without even telling me he would be right with me. He finally came over and said oh you still have not been helped. I was thinking no dude you were busy ignoring me. Lol That being said the food was great. I looked at the menu online which was much cheaper than what I was charged. If you raised your prices you need to update that on your online menu. Not thrilled with the service or the deseptive pricing ,but I will probably give it another shot because the food was great.
They are open for dine-in service!! Our server Emily was great. Will come back when Covid-19 has gone away
We stayed at the Westin and this place was just down the street from the hotel. Walked in on Saturday night place was packed and the only place around selling food at 1 am. Everyone was friendly they even had live entertainment. We ordered drinks and food. The wings were so spicy bu so darn good. Also had a burger and fries that was pretty good.
Friendly staff and diverse crowd. Fun for all occasions. Just don't drink & drive, play safe.
It just so happened that we visited on the fourth of July and McCaffery's was one of the few restaurants open. Lucky of us, it was a good place to have a meal. Without putting too fine of a point on it, we all had the same thing - fish and chips. The fish was fried very nicely, better than a lot of places that do this for a living. The chips did not seem to be fresh cut potatoes (well, they didn't seem that way to me) but done okay so I didn't have any big problem with that. The atmosphere is a typical pub - a little dark in furnishing and atmosphere (lighting) and, well, pub style with booths and bar stools. The wait staff was good and service was prompt for the most part. It wasn't too busy when we were there but I can imagine that it does get quite busy at time. A good choice for a meal if you're in the area.
Great selection of whiskeys and an exceptional bar tender. Kate gave great service with a smile.I'll be coming back and highly reccomend this place.
Their Sheppard's pie though made with hamburger is very good. My boyfriend had either a fish or chicken sandwich that he said tasted like it was frozen food. Their fries were very good tho and their Irish bread was fantastic. Draft beers weren't too bad at happy hour prices even on game night.
No music. Excellent service though. Regulars all got there stuff together. All in all great place and atmosphere. Interactions with wildlife (homeless) surrounding pub aren't advised though.
Fantastic little find in Phoenix. As someone from Ireland, I was very impressed with the quality of the Guinness. The food is very reasonably priced. I had the Chicken Wings and also had a portion of Nachos. The Nachos aren’t the normal type, as they are made from freshly cut potatoes. They were delicious. Over 300 bottles of Whisky/Whiskey, which can’t be a bad thing 😂The barman Brendan, was very friendly and pleasant. Overall, a great pub, delicious food and quality Guinness.
Small bar feel right in the heart of downtown Phoenix. This is my go to bar before games, concerts, etc. Can't recommend enough. Food is good but perhaps most importantly drinks don't cost an insane amount. No $15 cocktails, good beer and lots of whiskey.
I was here with 2 friends for lunch. The menu was mostly typical American fare but there were some Irish selections. The server was attentive and food was pretty good - nothing too special. Kind of warm inside - would have been more comfortable with more A/C. A nice selection of domestic and craft beers. Seamus is a Phoenix icon that’s been around for years & will hopefully, be around for many more. Great entertainment, too.
